Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress from Iceland . Anita Briem is an Icelandic actor. She's best known for her role as Jane Seymour, the young female who becomes the third Queen of Henry VIII on the television series The Tudors. Briem was 9 when she first began performing at the Icelandic National Theater. Her first stage performance was as a child in Iceland performing in radio and television plays. Briem left Iceland for London when she was 16 and was a part of an opera called Lenin's Love. Briem received his degree from his school, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art at the age of 19 and was awarded the John Barton Prize and a Diploma in Drama. The Cherry Garden (Anton Chekhov) and the home of Bernarda Alba written by Federico Garcia Lorca were among the numerous plays that she was part of during her time at RADA.
